The owner had been trying to burn this stump out for years and needed the space for parking. We ground it out and built up a gravel pad.
This old stump had been partly burnt in several attempts to get rid of it, and it was sitting right where the owner wanted to park. Burning a stump out is slow and rarely finishes the job.
Our tracked stump grinder milled the stump down below ground level. With the stump gone, we built up a gravel pad over the area to give a firm, level place to park.

A huge dead eucalypt stood on a hillside above homes, a driveway and the road. Climbing it wasn’t safe, so Tom worked from a hired spider lift instead.
