The situation
This large liquid amber in Forrest had grown right over the house. Its leaves kept blocking the gutters, and the overflow was causing flooding and mould inside. It had also already failed onto the house once, so the owners had good reason to want it gone.
The approach
With the tree towering over the roof and the house’s service line, there was no room to drop anything. The job needed careful planning and advanced rigging: the tree was taken down in controlled sections, each lowered on ropes clear of the roof, the line and the yard.
The result
The tree is gone, the gutters can do their job, and the crew finished with a full clean-up of the yard.
