The situation
Apollo Bay’s new roundabout at Pascoe Street and Moore Street has solar-powered street lights. A eucalyptus beside it had grown over the panels, shading the very thing the lights depend on.
The work
We pruned the eucalyptus back clear of the solar panels, with the truck and chipper set up alongside the roundabout.
The result
The panels get their sun again, and the tree keeps its place at the roundabout. We do the same kind of clearance pruning around roofs, gutters, driveways and home solar panels.
